September was a month of firsts for Temporary Ministries.
Leading Through the Noise officially launched—something that began years ago as research for a dissertation and eventually became a book intended to help churches navigate a polarized culture with a gospel-centered, nonpartisan approach.
Debbie and I also had our first speaking opportunity representing Temporary Ministries in Salina, Kansas. I had the opportunity to teach on biblical foundations and practical steps for engaging public servants, and Debbie joined me for the afternoon session. It was encouraging to move from writing about these ideas to discussing them face-to-face with others.
We also continued building the ministry itself. Wednesday Word is now being distributed through Temporary Ministries, including short video versions shared across several platforms. Presentations and resources are beginning to find a home on the website, and this Friday rhythm gives us another opportunity to share what God is allowing us to do.
None of these things are especially large by themselves. But together, they remind me that ministries often develop one faithful step at a time.
We are grateful for the opportunities God has already provided—and curious to see what comes next.
Thank you for following, encouraging, praying, and being part of these first steps with us.
