Most of what occupies our attention each day is temporary—our schedules, responsibilities, possessions, problems, and even many of the opportunities before us.
That does not make those things unimportant. It means we should see them in the right perspective.
Second Corinthians 4:18 reminds us to fix our eyes not only on what is seen, but on what is unseen and eternal. The temporary things of life matter because they give us opportunities to live faithfully before God.
The question is not whether today is temporary. It is.
The question is whether we will use what is temporary in a way that matters for eternity.
Temporary Ministries exists to encourage that kind of faithfulness.
